Baby K By Myleene Klass

As I’m a new mother and a complete novice with babies, I had no idea about how much newborn babies sleep. Rory doesn’t sleep for long periods at a time – night or day – but for the first four weeks he would be in the land of nod for about 15 hours out of 24.

For this reason, it doesn’t seem fair to put him in actual clothes – trousers and tops – because sleepsuits looks a lot more comfortable. I know I’d rather lounge around all day in a onesie rather than jeans a t-shirt!

That being said, some sleepsuits are cooler than others. I love my baby no matter what he’s wearing, but when he looks handsome in some new threads my heart bursts with pride. I particularly like this all-in-one from Myleene Klass’s Baby K collection at Mothercare. I saw it at the press day last year and loved it and I think it really suits Rory. He’s my little clever clogs…

There’s a lot of room in the body, so you can undo the poppers in the bottom and slide it upwards rather than fighting with the baby to get it over his head. The material is super soft, which is important when your baby is tiny as the idea of harsh material next to his skin is horrid. Also, it’s excellent value for money at just £12.

The new Baby K collection has some really cute slogan outfits this season and I also liked a tracksuit with Future Scientists printed on it and a bodysuit with the words Little Genius.

What’s your favourite shop for baby / kids clothing? Remember I’m still new to all this and I want to know where to go to buy nice things. Please comment or get in touch on social media (we’re BabyVipsBlog on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram).
